Explore the authentic side of Montmartre with us, two locals and the founders of "Where should I go?" (an exclusive service that allows travelers to experience the city like a local). On a two-hour immersive walk, we'll take you where no other tour will take you: to the locals' Montmartre! You'll get a taste of true Parisian culture, including artisanal food and quirky boutiques - and you'll even meet local creatives and artisans. A heads up: this is not a historical or sightseeing tour. Think of it more as an afternoon with local friends showing you hidden gems in an unfamiliar part of the city. • We meet at a local bakery for pastries and an introduction before strolling through the charming neighborhoods of Jules Joffrin and Lamarck-Caulaincourt, discovering pretty streets and quaint residential squares, visiting Parisian fashion designers, a shop selling locally produced cheese, and a jam maker. • We continue along a lively market street, stopping at a caramel shop, a gin distillery, a design studio, a vintage designer boutique and a small hidden cemetery. • After the the tour, we can relax together at a hip coffee shop or wine bar (this part is optional, drinks not included) and talk more about life in Paris. En 1789 Francia entró en un estado de agitación y, con ella, el mundo entero. La Revolución Francesa fue un evento de tal magnitud desde un punto de vista ideológico, político y social, que cambió para siempre nuestra forma de pensar. Durante la Revolución, se establecieron principios clave que siguen gobernando la sociedad contemporánea: la libertad, la igualdad, el derecho a la propiedad y la fraternidad. Compleja como es, la Revolución Francesa no deja de ser un proceso histórico lógico, y la comenzaremos a entender en la lujosa Place Vendome. Aquí descubriremos lo que realmente significa el absolutismo (cómo se ve y cómo se siente). Nos dirigiremos a la Place de la Concorde (donde muchas almas perdieron la cabeza) atravesando los Jardines de las Tullerías, donde hablaremos de las causas del brote revolucionario, los primeros intentos de reforma y la radicalización que culminó en el Reino del Terror. Cruzando Pont de la Concorde, llegaremos a la Asamblea Nacional donde discutiremos acerca del período más moderado de la Revolución: el Directorio. En Les Invalides (el lugar de descanso final de Napoleón) entenderemos cómo llegó Napoléon al poder después de más de una década de revolución. Terminando en el Grand Palais y con una vista panorámica de la Torre Eiffel, descubriremos el verdadero legado de la Revolución Francesa y cómo cambió el mundo para siempre.
