Although its known for its lodge and fly shop, the restaurant at Gate's is wonderful. Reservations recommended for evenings but there is lots of outdoor seating by the river and a walk up window for sandwiches. Dinners are well done. They have a phenominal chef.

Great food right on the river. Plenty of outdoor picnic tables for lunch! They take reservations for dinner. Fishing shop there to stock up on your flies!

They have a nice restaurant on the river good food and don't forget to bring your own beer and wine -- you need to phone a head.

This Orvis Fly Shop is very close to the cabin.

Gates has great breakfast, lunch and dinner that you can enjoy on the bank of the Main Stream of the Au Sable River.
